System Requirements
Make sure that your computer has a Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 interface and supports external graphics cards (eGPUs). Not all computers support eGPUs. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact our support team or the manufacturer of your computer.
PC
- Computer with Thunderbolt 3 or 4 port
- Windows 10 64-bit build 1809 or later
- Latest Windows 10 build is recommended
- Direct connection to Node Titan, no daisy chaining
- Your computer may need updates for the Thunderbolt software. For more information, go to https://thunderbolttechnology.net/updates.
Mac
- Mac with an Intel processor and Thunderbolt 3 port
- macOS 10.13.4 or later (no Boot Camp)
- Direct connection to Node Titan, no daisy chaining
- External graphics card with AMD processor

External Graphics Cards
While ideally suited for use with graphics cards, the Node Titan also supports other PCIe cards for professional-class video production, transcoding, audio processing, data storage, and high-speed network connectivity. For more details about those kind of cards, please see the PCIe card compatibility chart and refer to the Node Pro.
For graphics cards, earlier models than the RX 400 series from AMD and the GeForce 9 series from Nvidia are not supported. Beause it is not feasible to evaluate all of the cards, we have used the best information available in additional to our test results to provide a list of cards that should work in the Node Titan.
- XFX Cards not recommended on macOS.
- Apple recommends AMD branded or Sapphire cards.
- Fits GPUs up to 32cm long, 6cm wide, 17cm tall (including shroud design).
- Check manufacturer’s power requirements; maximum of 500W supplied to card.
- Water-cooled cards not recommended or supported.
