FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions - Knowledge Base

[MyCloud] I've attached an external USB drive to the network drive. Where can I access the data?

The external USB drives can be accessed under DEVICES but only if you are logged in as administrator. Look for USB1-P1 or USB2-P1. The data of your USB drive will be inside one of those directories. If you don't see it and have only just connected the USB drive, wait a few more seconds and then click Refresh to scan for new devices again. For more details about USB drives, see File Management > USB Copy on our Wiki.

Note
When two USB drives are connected simultaneously, the drive that has been mounted first is USB1 and the second one is USB2. If there are multiple partitions on a USB drive, the system will label them with USB1-P1, USB1-P2, etc.
