[Node] Can I use a 20Gbps Thunderbolt 3 cable?

Yes, you can use a 20 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 cable, it doesn't necessarily have to be a 40 Gbps cable and the graphics card will still work fine. In our tests, we found that the loss of performance with a 20 Gbps cable is only about 2-6%, although results may vary depending on the benchmark test and the GPU that is used.

Note: The percentage is taken from an average of 10 test runs for each 3DMark 11 (1080P), 3DMark (Fire Strike Ultra) and 3DMark (Time Spy) for a NVIDIA GTX 1080 and a AMD RX 470 graphics card.
