[Node] Why do the fans of the GPU run at full speed when turning off the computer?

With some GPU cards (e.g. AMD Radeon VII), we have received reports from the user community that the fans of the graphics card will start to run at full speed when turning off the computer. If that happens, we recommend turning off the Node completely until the external GPU is needed again.

Please note that if you have the same problem but it's not an AMD Radeon VII card, it might be a defective card. If possible, we recommend testing the card in a computer or using a different graphics card.
