[Node Titan] What is the maximum power the PCIe card can consume?
We recommend using a PCIe card with a power consumption of 500W or less but depending on the situation, the card can consume up to 585W.
- Total power of the built-in PSU: 650W
- Power consumption of the Node Titan: 10-15W
- Maximum power through PCIe slot: 75W
- Power delivery: Up to 85W
The PCIe slot provides a maximum of 75W but additional power can be supplied to the PCIe card by connecting a pair of 8-pin (6+2) PCIe power connectors.
If the Node Titan is connected to a computer that does not draw power through the Thunderbolt connection, the remaining power for the PCIe card is around 585W. If the Node Titan is used to recharge the laptop, the remaining power for the PCIe card is only around 500W.
